Schools out for ever?

So after six academic years of traditional schooling my granddaughter is going to start homeschooling! I’m excited

anticipating seeing the joy as she learns new concepts but I know she will have a challenging year ahead. My granddaughter is on the Autism Spectrum and for the first time ever, I will be her primary teacher.

I expect to post weekly updates about our educational journey. But I will also post about the daily triumphs and fun times that we will experience. While we will have fun times, I know that challenges await, but over twenty years of teaching has got to be worth something. What I realize is that many families don’t have a resident educator and they may be interested in homeschooling but intimidated by the idea. Continue to check in with me while I share a few homeschool ideas and way to implement those ideas. Mainly I want parent / guardian educators to understand that there’s joy, blessings and several days of frustration mixed into the American educational system. I want to do my best to educate you and give you the tools you need for your students success!
